U101 ENHANCE SURFACE AESTHETICS & PERFORMANCE Product Benefits U101 continuous filament mat represents a compelling solution for lamination of continuous flat or corrugated panels where surface aesthetics are important in translucent or non-translucent applications. • Produced with patented Advantex corrosion resistant E-CR glass by Owens Corning. • Made of continuous filaments randomly oriented and bonded together by a highly soluble polyester binder. ® Excellent processing • Continuous filaments help the resin flow consistently in continuous panel processing. Improved surface aesthetics • Mat chemistry and construction have been tailored to enhance surface aesthetics. High mechanical properties • Continuous filament construction contributes to enhanced high tensile and flexural performance. Corrosion resistance • Excellent corrosion resistance with Advantex Glass compared to standard E-glass: providing longer service life in applications facing corrosion. ® U101 mat is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, acrylic and epoxy resin systems. It is designed for lamination of continuous flat panels such as exterior panels for truck trailer or vehicle body, sandwich panel skins, as well as flat or corrugated translucent panels. Packaging (Standard Reference) U101 is available in Europe. Standard widths are available from 50 to 300cm. Additional widths are available upon request by your Owens Corning contact. NOMINAL MAT WEIGHT (G/M2) Each roll is wound on a 103mm internal diameter cardboard tube and wrapped with a transparent stretch film.
