M723B DESIGNED TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY Product Benefits M723B chopped strand mat represents an ideal solution where the wet and carry process, minimized fiber shedding, rapid air release, and lower resin consumption are desired. • Produced with Advantex® corrosion-resistant E-CR glass by Owens Corning. • Made of medium tex multi-chop strands randomly dispersed and bonded together with a highly soluble polyester powder binder. • Compatible with polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and polyurethane resins. Easy Handling and Moldability • Glass bonding designed to minimize fiber shedding, including in the most demanding molding process. High Process Efficiency • Exceptional wet tensile strength perfectly fits with the wet and carrying process. • Fast wetting and quick air release help reduce the labor required to roll out the part. High Performance • Optimized product design allows good surface finish and smooth surface behind gelcoat while providing the final part with exceptional tensile and flexural performances. Enhanced Service Life • Compared to standard E-glass, Advantex® glass helps with enhanced service life in applications facing corrosion. M723B is designed to be used both as gel coat backup and standard laminate reinforcement for most contact molding applications, including truck parts and panels, marine applications, storage containers, and tanks for corrosives. M723B is available in South America. Additional weights and widths are available upon request by contacting your Owens Corning representative. Packaging & Labeling Each roll is wound on a 102 mm (4") internal diameter cardboard tube and fully enclosed in Cling-Pak™ wrap. Twelve rolls are positioned vertically (except width 280 — it is placed horizontally) on each pallet, banded with tape and Cling-Pak™ wrapped for stability and protection.
