TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT ARCHER TRIM TAB WITH EXTENDABLE FOIL DESCRIPTION: Quantum's Advanced Ride Control High-speed Extendable Retractable (ARCHER™) is a sophisticated and intelligent motion comfort control system for high speed yachts that simultaneously provides pitch, roll and trim control by means of retractable winglets built into active trim tabs. The winglet, electronically controlled and hydraulically actuated, extends from inside the trim tab, and retracts inside the tab when not in use. The Archer is a unique stabilizer solution that is capable of significantly reducing vessel roll and pitch during high speed underway operations. FEATURES: EXCELLENT HIGH SPEED PERFORMANCE: The Archer is very effective for higher speed transom-stern vessels, and the unit offers a lower drag solution than alternative motion control solutions. EASE OF INSTALLATION: The Archer is delivered pre-assembled and tested, for easy installation into the vessel. CORROSION RESISTANCE: The Archer is composed of 316L stainless steel components to minimize corrosive effects on the unit. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: To avoid damage, the Archer’s foil automatically stows during maneuvering, and the tabs are automatically brought to their uppermost positions when the system is shut-down.
