OUR OWNERS TELL US SHE'S 'OUTSTANDING'. Outstanding is a word not normally chosen lightly by the sort of person able to commission a yacht of this calibre. Which is why most of our own words that follow may prove, to some extent superfluous. You have to^ctually see and sail the stunning Oyster 82, to truly understand the passion behind our owners^ comments and to appreciate just how capable and impressive this Oyster is. WITHOUT EVEN DRAWING BREATH. From every angle the Oyster 82 looks refined and elegant. She has proved herself to have an exceptionally fine sailing character too, being beautifully balanced and light on the helm. The sort of yacht that will eat up 240 miles in a day on passage without drawing breath, yet deliver a spirited, sparkling performance in light airs. 82 AN ATMOSPHERE OF REFINED ELEGANCE IS IN EVIDENCE BOTH ABOVE DECKS AND BELOW. The spacious split cockpit conjures up a wonderful ‘big yacht’ feel – making it the perfect place to enjoy the thrill and exhilaration of a passage. Forward is a well protected and sociable relaxation area with cockpit tables that are the ideal size for serious ‘al fresco’ dining. Further aft, at the business end of things, the helmsman enjoys a really commanding position – naturally with twin wheels – and with winches and sail control systems positioned aft for ready access by the crew, who can wind away...

The Deck Saloon version has all the airy open-plan luxury for which Oysters are famous, but a split-level saloon is also available, which offers fabulous panoramic views from the seating in the main area.
