Welcome to the MANERA brand, we’re happy to see you interested in what we do. We are a French family-business which develops Kite & SUP gear for demanding riders. F-ONE KITES CEO Raphael SALLES, my father, founded MANERA in 2011 with the idea of creating gear to benefit the whole Kitesurfing community. When F-ONE develops kites and boards, MANERA stands side by side with the rider, creating wetsuits and harnesses. We share the same philosophy that the product is the heart of a company, and as a result most of our efforts are spent on the research, development and testing of the collection....

What we call «neoprene» is actually composed of three layers including a middle neoprene foam with jerseys on each side. We use our exclusive TRIPLEX neoprene, which we have developed into two versions depending on your needs : MAGMA and X10D. The TRIPLEX MAGMA is clearly designed to be warm. The MAGMA interior fleece works as an insulator, enclosing the heat produced by the body in its thousands of small loops. This creates a barrier against external cold and restores the heat accumulated during your every movement back to you. The TRIPLEX X10D offers unparalleled freedom of movement. The...

The X10D inside layer is the most flexible material you can find on a suit, it makes you feel stretch and light, with a good feeling on the skin. Our brand new N FOAM is even warmer, more flexible and more comfortable than V foam. It totally outdoes all the existing foams. Better than your own skin. The REFLEX outside skin is extremely stretch, smooth, durable, UV-resistant, it enhances your movements and makes them more explosive.

The SD2 Tape seam represents the best balance between flexibility, durability and waterproofness. The neoprene panels are first sealed together and then sewn with «blind-stitches» : the needle does not entirely pass through the neoprene layer for a reduced permeability. It's all topped with a sealed tape on the inside: the SD2 TAPE. The sewing is therefore 100% waterproof and durability is considerably increased, while keeping the best possible flexibility.

\Twater strainer A Wetsuit leg filled up with water is a very uncomfortable issue: The MANERA water strainer panel is here to prevent it. The leaky + perforated neoprene drains the water out of your leg instantly to let you continue the session in the best possible conditions. Featured in all models (except shorty)

Some areas are very sensitive to friction, tensions and tearing. All MANERA wetsuits have been designed with a demanding brief including: Avoiding seams in tensions area, to maximize flexibility and strength. Making sure the seams are stretched vertically and not in a horizontal way. Removing seams from friction areas, which avoids rash and increases stretch capacity. Reinforcing strategic parts and panels right where it needs to be.

Sealing prints make the ankles and wrists stiffer. It has a joint role that keeps the water away, and maintains the arms and legs panels in place. It is made to be just stretch enough to put-on and remove the wetsuit easily. Featured in all models (except shorty)

The back of the knees is an area that requires specific care. The BACK KNEE EMBOSS helps the TRIPLEX to bend more naturally for greater comfort during flexion of the knees. Featured in MAGMA range

The mesh panels are used to protect the most sensible areas of your body from cold: The insulating air chambers retain warmth around your body while the water & windproof outside smooth skin blocks the wind-chill effect. Only featured in MAGMA HOODED

If the Water strainer panel is still not enough for you: The MANERA ankle straps are designed to be very thin so water sprays can’t take them off. They are also stiff enough to block the water from coming in. and light for a better comfort. Featured in all models (except shorty)

The different neoprene layers are fused on the tips of arms and legs to make it thinner and more aesthetic. It prevents water from coming in and also protects the inside neoprene foam (N FOAM) by covering it. Featured in all models (except shorty)

It’s easy to get lost when it comes to wetsuit thicknesses: 5mm, 5.4.3mm, 5.4mm, 5.3mm, etc... and information is often vague or nonexistent. > The thermal comfort of a 5.4.3mm wetsuit is very different whether the 5mm panels make up for 10% or 40% of your suit. When you buy a MAN ERA wetsuit, we want you to know what you’re ordering. When we say 5.4.3mm, we guarantee that the product is built with more than 50% of 5mm thick neoprene. And this applies to all thicknesses.
