It is electric hydraulic remote controlled and fitted with a fixed capacity Jet/Fog type nozzle. Nozzle control accomplis hed from the monitor's control panel, which enables adjustment of the jet type from straight stream to fog shape. This special capability makes the remote controlled nozzle a far better tool against fire than more conventional fixed nozzle monitors equipped with a deflector. MAIN DATA Type: Single flow path water monitor with electric/hydraulic remote control and fitted with jet/fog Operation : Hydraulic motors and joy-stick remote control. Two hand wheels for manual back up. The hand wheels may be disconnected in remote control mode Materials: Waterway in bronze and high grade stainless steel. Gear housing in cast iron. Swivels and gears sealed and greased for life. AISI 316 hydr. tubes and fittings. Carbon/teflon type water seals REMOTE CONTROL The monitor and Jet Fog nozzle are controlled by a self-contained hydraulic system. The complete system wi th power unit and control valves are mounted within a stainless steel cabinet and fitted on the monitor. Two hydraulic motors operate monitor movement and two cylinders control the Jet/Fog nozzle. Remote control is then by Joy-stick and push buttons.
