Intersmooth 7670 SPC TBT Free, Low Friction, Self Polishing Copolymer A/F PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A high solids, high performance, TBT free, Copper free, Low friction, Self Polishing Copolymer (SPC) antifouling paint with patented copper acrylate copolymer. INTENDED USES Developed especially to meet the severe fouling challenge of vessels trading in coastal waters. Suitable for use on both coastal and deep sea vessels depending on activity profile and intended service life. For use at Newbuilding and Maintenance & Repair. PRODUCT INFORMATION Part B (Curing Agent) Volume Solids Typical Film Thickness Range: 75 - 150 microns dry (132 - 263 microns wet) may be specified depending upon end use. Theoretical Coverage Range: 7.6 - 3.8 m²/litre at 75 - 150 microns dft, allow appropriate loss factors Airless Spray, Brush, Roller Flash Point (Typical) Drying Information Touch Dry [ISO 9117/3:2010] Before Flooding Note If any single coat dft >150μm or total dft is >300μm, the flooding times must be increased as follows: 48 hours at -5°C, 36 hours at 5°C, 24 hours at 25°C and 12 hours at 35°C. Overcoating Data - see limitations Substrate Temperature -5°C REGULATORY DATA Note: VOC values are typical and are provided for guidance purposes only. These may be subject to variation depending on factors such as differences in colour and normal manufacturing tolerances. This product does not contain organotin compounds acting as biocides and as such is in compliance with the International Convention on the Control of Harmful Anti-fouling Systems on ships as adopted by IMO in October 2001 (IMO document AFS/CONF/26). Prolonged exposure to sunlight may affect the antifouling performance of the paint. Overcoating information is given for guidance only and is subject to regional variation depending upon local climate and environmental conditions.
