Their boat is powered with the new Cummins QSB5.9L, 350 hp electronic motor matched to Hamilton’s 274 jet pump. The Cummins electronic engine is much quieter than the previous mechanical versions, waste-gated to eliminate turbo lag making the engine quite responsive and as with any diesel, very fuel efficient. Standard features include a Cummins supplied digital “SmartCraft” instrumentation, pilot & co-pilot pantograph wipers, pilot & copilot spring ride seats, bench seats with backrests, fish box, dual heaters, removable rear rails, an aluminum hardtop with top trays, top rails and dome lights and Coast Guard approved running and navigation lights. “Extras” include dual cross storage boxes, banana seats for the rear rails, spotlights, aft flood lights, numerous rod & net holders, bow rails & bow ladder, sliding glass side windows, swim deck ladder and live wells. Bentz pioneered features include the sled shaped bow, a short stroke mechanical stick steering and delta pad bottom.
