Driven aft, the boat’s captain can not only navigate the river but also view passengers reducing the total amount of required deckhands. Passengers can be boarded over the bow using the fold down bow ladder or through the aft gates to either side. Freight and gear can also be loaded through the larger center door opening forward or through the expansive side openings. Side curtains are available for cooler days but are removed during warmer weather. The propulsion package, triple Yanmar 315hp diesel engines and Hamilton 241 jet units with turbo impellers, coupled with Bentz engineered stick steering and hull design makes the “Happy Hour” a high performance boat capable of safely navigating the extreme waters found in Hell’s Canyon.
