Soundac® enclosures Description ® Soundac enclosures of ANR provide an exceptional quality of sound attenuation over a broad frequency range. The enclosures are assembled as modules from self-supporting panels. Each enclosure is produced individually, which offers a total solution to your acoustic requirements. The design of the Soundac® enclosure is made to make the production process as efficient as possible. The Soundac® enclosure may also offer extra safety to the operating staff. Sound insulation The sound insulation or sound attenuation of the enclosure is the difference in sound level with or without an enclosure. Sound attenuation in dB Sound attenuation (dB) The Soundac enclosure is a standard construction with an outer layer of a single sheet of thermal galvanised steel and an inner layer of a single sheet of perforated thermal galvanised steel. The space between the layers is filled with a special sound absorbing mineral wool with a layer of black mineral fibre against the layer of perforated steel.
