OverviewFoam Filled Fenders (YFF) are designed to be unsinkable and have a long lifespan. They are highly durable against sunlight, seawater, and abrasion. Large-sized fenders are equipped with a chain and tire net for additional protection.
Performance CharacteristicsThe performance of Foam Filled Fenders is measured in terms of deflection, reaction, and energy absorption. The performance curve indicates that as deflection increases from 5% to 60%, the reaction and energy absorption also increase, reaching 100% at maximum deflection.
Foam Filled Fender Net TypeThis section provides a detailed performance table for Foam Filled
Buoys (YFB) with various capacities: Low Reaction, Standard Capacity, High Capacity, Extra High Capacity, and Super High Capacity. Each capacity level is associated with specific reaction force (RㆍF) and energy absorption (EㆍA) values, measured in kN and kN-m respectively.
Performance TableThe table lists dimensions (diameter and length in mm) and corresponding performance metrics for different capacity levels. For example, a fender with a diameter of 700 mm and length of 1500 mm has a low reaction force of 82.3 kN and energy absorption of 17.6 kN-m.
NotesPerformance details can vary based on owner specifications and local environmental conditions. Detailed performance will be provided through specific drawings and specifications.
