The sliding hatch garage has been reshaped to allow an optional canvas stow-away spray dodger that folds down completely flush with the coach roof, An integral canvas cover then zips elegantly round the stowed dodger. The handrails, mooring cleats and dodger frames are now in stainless steel. The rest is as before - perfected for easy handling.

Both the X-382 and the X-4 12 been updated in small detail since their early birth, X-382 MK II has been introduced principally to take advantage of significant developments in keel and rudder design. The tendency over the years has been for keels to have an even deeper centre of gravity.
