Musketeer Q-Line doors are available in various combinations: steel doorblade with steel angle bar frame, steel doorblade with steel flush U-frame, aluminium doorblade with steel angle bar frame, and aluminium doorblade with aluminium angle bar frame. Optional insulation includes 40mm with 100mm lining.
The doors operate using the patented Musketeer system, featuring a stainless steel central closing mechanism with quick-acting handles on both sides. The system includes self-braking cleats that function with a single handle action, offering ultra-light operation due to a 1:33 force transmission ratio. Hinges and cleats are fully adjustable and maintenance-free.
The door seal is sea water resistant and supplied loose. For steel frames, the seal is 45x20mm EPDM shore 45, and for aluminium frames, it is 45x20mm Moos shore 20. Steel frames use brass wedges, while aluminium frames use POM white (synthetic) wedges.
All doors are shot blasted to SA 2.5 and primed with one layer of primer. Steel materials use Hempel shopprimer E 1527C, 20 mu, and aluminium materials are primed with Sigmacover 30mu.
The Q-Line includes splashtight and weathertight central closing doors built according to international rules and regulations, with design approval by Class Society. Splashtight doors require a 6mm doorplate with 2 or 4 cleats, while weathertight doors require an 8mm doorplate with 4 or 6 cleats.
Options include splash- or weathertight, left or right hinged, number of cleats (2/4/6), doorplate material, frame material, and insulation.
Clear opening sizes range from a minimum height of 800mm to a maximum of 1850mm (1250mm minimum for insulated doors) and a width from 550mm to 850mm (600mm minimum for insulated doors), with intervals of 50mm.
Steel and aluminium angle bar frames measure 75x50x7mm, while flush U-frames measure 68/90x60x50mm.
Handles are 300mm for clear widths less than 750mm and 400mm for widths 750mm or greater. All doors feature round corners with a radius of 100mm.
