WESMAR Hydraulic Systems - 1

Design Considerations The correct hydraulic pump for the application depends on the Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) of the engine to which it is mated, be it a direct mount to the harmonic balancer, or through a transmission or generator Power Hydraulic pumps are rated to provide a specific displace- ment for each revolution with pump efficiency de-rating Highest demand fluid consumers - Bow and Stern Thrust- Designing The Hydraulic System The most important criteria in building your hydraulic sys- tem is determining how to power the hydraulic pumps. The best cost to performance is to mount the pump directory to the generator to take advantage of the low cost of smaller displacement pumps with a nearly 3:1 displacement advan- tage of 1800 RPM vs 700 RPM for a transmission mount. To ensure the correct pump rotation we require the rotation of generator or transmission PTO, or flywheel or harmonic balancer rotation for direct mount via stub shaft. The rotation of the pump will always be opposite to the rotation of the prime mover to which it is connected when mating face to face, WESM AR will preset the system pressure and flow for all WESMAR supplied equipment in the circuit. Just provide the pressure and flow requirements of all other hydraulic devices you require in the circuit, along with the operat- ing voltage, and the full system will be preset and ready PRODUCT WARRANTY Commercial warranty and consumer limited warranty, disclaimer, and remedies. Seller warrants title, materials, and workmanship on equipment, except components manufactured by others for which seller assigns, as permitted, the original manufacturer's warranty. Seller's warranty period for all applicable express or implied warranties shall be ninety (90) days after installation or one (1) year after date of shipment to the original buyer, whichever time period expires first. Nonconforming equipment reported to seller during the applicable warranty period and returned to seller at buyer's expense and risk shall be repaired, or replaced at seller's option. If seller is unable or unwilling to repair or replace such reported and returned nonconforming equipment within a reasonable time, then buyer shall be entitled to a refund of the purchase price of the equipment as buyer's sole remedy. This paragraph sets forth buyer's exclusive remedies for nonconforming goods. This commercial warranty and consumer limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including design, course of dealing, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose, NOTE: LIMITATION OF SELLER'S COMMERCIAL AND CONSUMER LIABILITY.
