WARWICK 115 AKHALIQ 115’ performance motor yacht from Warwick Yacht Design Stylish performer AKHALIQ is a 115ft (35m) high performance luxury motoryacht from the Sheerline range. AKhaliq is the Malaysian owner’s third luxury motoryacht designed by Warwick and built by Alloy. Although intended primarily for coastal cruising in South East Asia, AKhaliq is also easily able to undertake major ocean passages. State-of-the-art satellite communication systems, including Dect cordless telephones, keep owners and guests in touch from the remotest locations. At her top speed of 28 knots, AKhaliq remains smooth as silk and exceptionally quiet, thanks to comprehensive sound and vibration insulation. In displacement mode, she has a range of 1700 miles at 12 knots, but on shorter passages she planes effortlessly at a cruising speed of 25 knots. The most up to date electronic and computerised monitoring equipment keeps track of all the ship’s systems, while a four-camera infrared surveillance system ensures security at all times. On board entertainment is of theatre quality, offering stereo surround sound, widescreen satellite TV and laser disk movies. For tropical climates, the entire vessel, including the enclosed aft deck, is fully air conditioned. In more temperate conditions, the aft deck can open up to the breeze. Lounging, dining and accommodation areas are spread across three decks. Superb joinery in birds-eye maple and contrasting inlays combine with custom fittings to create an atmosphere of elegance and refinement. In concept and execution, this is truly a worldclass vessel. The owner’s suite is situated on the main deck and features a study and stunning bathroom finished in blueveined marble with Corian inlaid floors. Guest accommodations are on the lower deck. They comprise four guest staterooms, with ensuite facilities : a children’s room with four bunks, two identical double suites and a VIP suite. All the guest cabins have their own entertainment systems, TVs and climate control. This level also houses a discreet prayer room, which, if need be, can be utilised as extra accommodation with its own ensuite facilities.
