The Volvo Penta line cutter is an easy to install a ­ ccessory that provides additional protection in waters where it may be required. It is designed to cut through ropes, fishing lines, plastic bags and nets before they can enter between the propellers and possibly cause damage to the propeller shaft sealing. The line cutter is available for all Volvo Penta IPS models. THE DESIGN makes the line cutter very efficient without adding any drag THE LINE CUTTER is mounted to the rear propeller which creates a very efficient rotating cutting action. It is easy to install using the existing ­ locking bolts and does not increase drag or fuel consumption.
