VOLVO PENTA ACCESSORIES TRIM SYSTEM IS600–1050 Smooth boat behavior – the easy way! The Volvo Penta Interceptor System (IS) will make your boat driving a whole lot simpler, safer and more comfortable, while also reducing your boat’s fuel consumption. The system is fully integrated in our electronic platform, EVC, and is available in two versions. Manual is standard, but the optional, automatic version is where the system really asserts itself. Just press the TRIM ASSIST button to activate the Auto mode and enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride – fully automatically! This robust system is optimized for Volvo Penta-powered boats 40 feet and larger. The interceptor System is easy to operate via the engine control. SUPERIOR ONBOARD COMFORT By continuously compensating for wind and load, IS gives the boat its most favourable running angle – and everyone aboard a smoother ride. With the automatic option, the Auto mode, the driver can lean back and focus on driving. Controlling the system is easy, it’s all integrated in the control lever. SELF-CLEANING MODE TRUE TURN • Available as a fully automatic system with manual overlay control at all times. The system will cycle into a self-cleaning mode which minimizes marine growth. The cycle consists of multiple full stoke activations while the boat is at rest. This will mechanically scrape off marine growth from the blades.
