VOLVO PENTA ACCESSORIES AIR HEATER Recycle engine heat and make it warm and snug onboard The Volvo Penta air heater utilizes the heat from the engine´s cooling system and converts it into hot air. Four outlets makes it easy to distribute the heated air to where it is needed. It gives you a warm and snug atmosphere onboard, and you avoid misty or frosted windows. The Volvo Penta Air heater is available in two sizes; 5 kW and 10 kW. HIGHLY EFFICIENT The heat exchanger is highly efficient and ensures that there is plenty of heated air as soon as the engine reaches working temperature. The airflow can be set to three different speeds and the intergrated fan is very power efficient even at maximum speed. The air heater is compact and easy to install – vertically or horizontally. Four outlets supplied with hose connectors makes it easy to distribute the heated air to where it is needed. Various connectors and nozzles are available to suit your specific needs. The Volvo Penta air heater offers quiet operation and a robust design. The stainless steel housing and copper/ brass heat exchanger ensures long service life. The Air Heater is connected to the engines closed-circuit cooling system. The integrated fan blows air through the heat exchanger, where it is heated by the engines coolant fluid. The heated air is then distributed via a series of hoses to where it is needed e.g. to warm up the cabin or the helm, to defrost or demist the windshield or even dry clothing in a storage compartment.
