M Technology for a Cleaner Environment The "Minifly" is a floating weir skimmer, working on the same principles as the larger Vikoma Dragonfly skimmer. It is suitable for dealing with small oil spills and has also been specifically designed to fit through a standard 61cm manhole. Skimming is achieved by the oil flowing over a constantly adjusting circular weir plate induced by the action of pulsating bellows.
