Specifications
The Komara 20 skimmer features oleophilic disc technology, allowing for efficient oil recovery with minimal water uptake. It can recover up to 20 tonnes of oil per hour, depending on factors such as oil viscosity, temperature, and sea conditions. The skimmer is suitable for use in ports, harbors, shorelines, and coastal waters.

Design and Functionality
The skimmer includes four individual disc banks for a 360-degree oil flow, making it effective for a range of oil types from light to heavy contaminants. The system is equipped with a GP10 diesel hydraulic powerpack, a transfer pump, and necessary hoses and connectors. The recovery rate is independently verified at up to 22m3/hr by Lloyd’s assessors.
