Constructed from heavy-duty 2500-g/ m2 neoprene rubber coated fabric, vulcanised under pressure guarantees seam integrity and gives the boom material high weather, UV degradation and oil resistance. The systems independent buoyancy chambers, formed by sealed internal bulkheads, allow the boom to maintain its integrity and retain oil, should damage occur to any one chamber.
