Innovative design for the best of both worlds Combining the best features of liferafts and lifeboats, the VIKING LifeCraft™ is a self-propelled inflatable craft with four engines for a high degree of maneuverability and safety. Now crew can more easily move liferaft capacity around the vessel to where it’s needed, maneuvering in a controlled manner to smoothly reposition your safety assets. There are four engines, one at each corner, with individual power control. Inside, intuitive seating is arranged so all 200 persons sit at the same level. A gangway can also be provided for stretchers

Designed for a safer and smoother evacuation A key component of the VIKING LifeCraft™ System is the EscapeWay™, based on a well-proven chute system that safely brings evacuees from the boarding point on the deck down into the LifeCraft™ unit. With built-in capacity redundancy there's enough flexibility to exceed the entire capacity of the system. Larger and wider vessels mean that the number of passengers, and trim height and list conditions, can vary enormously in an emergency situation.
