UNIFILO 700 SERIES MAKE HIGH-QUALITY PREFORMS ® Product Benefits UNIFILO® 700 Series continuous filament mats represent a large choice of tailored preforming solutions for closed mold process. • Produced with Advantex® corrosion resistant E-CR glass by Owens Corning. • Made of continuous filaments randomly-oriented and bonded together by a thermoplastic powder binder. Customized for multiple needs • UNIFILO® 700 Series mats products are available with varying filament lay-out and binder contents to match up with specific customer applications. Lower Binder T754 S754 S744 Better Conformability Higher Loft Higher Cross Mechanical Property Higher Stretch Higher Stretch with Higher Loft Better Bonding Easier Handling Easy processing • S744, S750 products enable extra stretch and good resin flow for deeper draw applications. • U746 product provides good stretch and excellent resin flow required in multi-layer applications. Enhanced mechanical properties • T750, T754 products provide enhanced mechanical properties in the cross-mat direction. • U720 product provides stronger and more durable preforms. It is well suited for automated processes. Corrosion resistance • Excellent corrosion resistance with Advantex® Glass compared to standard E-glass: providing longer service life in applications facing corrosion. UNIFILO® 700 Series mats are compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, acrylic and epoxy resins. They are designed to be preformed with the same dimensions as the final part and for use in closed mold process such as RTM (high and low- pressure injection), infusion and compression molding.
