PRODUCT INFORMATION SE4121 Single End Roving for Polypropylene Long-Fiber Thermoplastics PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Single-End Rovings are produced by pulling individual fibers directly from the bushing and winding them onto a roving package ready for shipment. The uniform distribution of a proprietary sizing system ensures an excellent resin-to-glass binding through uniform distribution of the binding agent. This results in maximum strand integrity. Single-End Rovings are manufactured using the T30® Roving state-ofthe-art technology of OCV™ Reinforcements, in conjunction with statistical process control in manufacturing facilities certified to ISO 9001. PRODUCT APPLICATION OC® SE 4121 is an advanced member of the Single-End Continuous Rovings (Type 30) family. This product is specially designed for use in polypropylene long-fiber thermoplastic (LFT) applications. OC SE 4121 has a unique chemistry that is designed to be suitable with Direct-LFT processes as well as with pellets manufacturing. OC® SE 4121 is also suitable for processes using long chopped fibers.
