OCV™Reinforcements PRODUCT INFORMATION For RTM, Light RTM, Infusion or Wet Compression PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Multiconform® mat is made of E-glass continuous strands of random orientation without any binder or any stitching yarn and combined with a polypropylene core. PRODUCT REFERENCE nominal weight per unit area (g/m2 PRODUCT APPLICATION The continuous strands have a sizing with a coupling agent that makes Multiconform® mat compatible with Unsaturated Polyester, Vinylester and Epoxy resins. It is a soft product with a high stretchability designed for RTM and light RTM, infusion or wet FEATURES AND PRODUCT BENEFITS • Continuous glass fibers + PP, no binder nor stitching • High permeability and wet out • Soft product easy to handle • Good mechanical properties and isotropy • Very good surface appearance behind gel coat • Very good adaptability to molds of complex shapes • Uniform glass content on tight radii VISUAL CHARACTERISTICS OR POSSIBLE DEFECTS Type A: big filaments (coarse strands) Type B: cluster of glass fiber Type C: water spots Type D: dirt and foreign matters (diameter from 5 to 30 mm) Maximum number of defects allowed: each area of 100 Im of a roll of Multiconform® mat may contain at most 5 of the above listed
