PRODUCT INFORMATION Chopped Strand Mat for Hand-Lay Up PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This product is produced using Advantex® glass fiber. Advantex® glass fiber combines the electrical and mechanical properties of traditional E-glass with the acid corrosion resistance of E-CR M5 chopped strand mat is made from Advantex® Glass Roving chopped strands. They are held together by an emulsion binder, soluble in styrene, which gives the M5 excellent compatibility with UP resins. The basic strand offers a sizing that contains a silane coupling system.
