PRODUCT INFORMATION E-CSM Light Weight Chopped Strand Mat for Hand Lay Up Hand-Lay PRODUCT DESCRIPTION E-CSM is made from E-glass low size chopped strands glass held together by an emulsion binder which makes it perfectly suitable for use with polyester resins. The basic strand has a sizing system containing a silane coupling agent. VISUAL CHARACTERISTICS or POSSIBLE DEFECTS All the visible defects of the chopped strand mat are classified as visual defects. The maximum number of visual defects allowed for a 100m2 roll is 10. Possible defects are: • Unbound edges • Holes (> 40mm) or tears • Dirt spots (greater than 5mm) • Unopened strands • Accumulation of fibers (>40mm) or binder (>20mm)

Best conditions are at temperature from 10 to 35°C and humidity between 35 and 85 %. If you store the product at lower temperatures, please move the soon to be processed pallets to the production area 24 hours e ahead of time; remove part of the protective cover of each roll to prevent condensation.
