V2O Marine offers an innovative, patented solution for efficient control systems against marine pollution. The system is designed to maximize the recovery of various types of floating marine waste, including macro-waste, hydrocarbons, microplastics, and toxic algae, by collecting them within a narrow band.
The Marine Pollution Solution (MPS) requires only one tugboat and can be used with any vessel equipped with a winch. It is quick to install and easy to use, with a tenfold increase in the area cleaned compared to traditional methods. The MPS is tailor-made in France to meet specific requirements and includes training and maintenance services.
Once inflated and launched, the MPS is towed closed to a polluted area. The winch opens the MPS, allowing the width of the area to be swept to be adjustable. After treating the area, the winch closes the system, enabling quick movement to the next polluted area. The travel speed in closed configuration is 8 knots, while the working speed in open configuration is 4 knots.
The MPS features a symmetrical design with no lateral force to compensate, allowing continuous operation without the need for a trawl to be filled. Its optimized convex shape reduces hydrodynamic drag, and it can be towed by a single ship without a paravane, saving time and fuel.
The MPS is suitable for use in ports, along coastlines, and in high seas, making it a versatile solution for various marine environments.
