Installation and Positioning: The document outlines the installation procedures for UL Ti MATE underwater lights, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a constant waterline angle (CWLA) to avoid installation errors. It suggests using angled weld-ins to achieve this and advises marking positions on the yacht where weld-ins cannot be fitted.
Welding Instructions: Detailed welding procedures for the UL Ti MATE 75 SA are provided, including specifications for 316L stainless steel and aluminum hulls. The document specifies the use of certified welders, protection of threads, and adherence to specific welding parameters such as current, voltage, and heat input.
Beam Angle and Lux Information: The document describes the beam angle restrictions and adjustments for different models, including the UL Ti MATE 75 SA and 130 SA. It provides lux levels for 150W and 250W lamps at various distances and angles, highlighting the impact of beam adjustments on light distribution.
Ballast Installation and Operation: Instructions for installing and operating the ballast are included, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a minimum distance from the projector, ensuring airflow, and avoiding high ambient temperatures. The document warns against common causes of ballast failure, such as defective wiring and improper installation.
Recommendations and Warnings: The document advises against insulating the projector, restricting airflow around the ballast, or placing it in high-temperature areas, as these actions can lead to ballast and light failure. It also highlights the need for a cool-down period for the lamp and cautions against frequent switching of the ballast.

UL Ti MATE RANGE - 75 SA AND 130 SA INFORMATION underwater lights limited™ BEAM ANGLE AND LUX INFORMATION DESCRIPTION The cone angle in the body restricts the width of the light beam angle. The 50 degree is 65 degrees, the flush and UL Ti MATE 130 have an angle of 100 degrees. The center of the light beam should be kept to 15 degrees down from the horizontal. Taking into account the reflector adjustment a flush body can be installed at an angle of 35 degrees to the vertical. The spherical is then adjusted to 20 degrees and then locked. This gives the required 15 degree beam angle. The flush can...
