Overview: Umbilicals International (UI) offers a range of supplementary items to support their diving products. These items can be installed by the customer or by UI during the processing of any cable, hose, or umbilical order.
Subsea Electrical Connectors: UI provides various subsea electrical connectors including 8 Pin Male and Female connectors, Seiscon SU connectors, Seacon RMG connectors (2, 3, or 4 pin), and Seacon RMK connectors (5 pin). The OTS Hi-Use (4 pin) is also available.
Topside Electrical Connectors: Common surface connectors include the Amphenol, typically used on Video/Light cables, and Banana Plugs, typically used on Communication cables. The Amphenol MS3108B-18-8P is highlighted.

Potting Compound: The FM-0103 Cold Mold Potting Compound is available for high-quality self-termination. It provides a watertight seal while remaining flexible.
Tension Relief: UI offers various methods for tension relief within the umbilical. The most common is a D-ring attached by whipping it onto the umbilical with yarn. Options include a factory-installed Snap Shackle, a removable Snap-Shackle with Lanyard, and Stainless Steel or Kevlar Kellums Grips.

Diving- Supplementary items In addition to the range of products specially designed and manufactured by Umbilicals International (UI) we also support our products with a range of supplementary items. These support items can be installed by the customer or installed by UI at the time when processing any cable/hose/umbilical order. Subsea Electrical Connectors Seacon RMG connector (2, 3 or 4 pin) and Seacon RMK connector (5 pin) Seiscon SU connector 8 Pin Female Topside Electrical Connectors The list of possible surface connectors is almost limitless, however there are common connectors which are used on the surface end of the diver’s umbilical, for instance the Amphenol is typically used on Video/Light cable and the Banana Plug is typically used on the Communication cable. Braided Protective Sock The mono-filament polyethylene braided sock is available in 2 standard sizes (1” to 2” & 2” to 3”), this is ideal for the umbilical sizes typically used for inshore construction diving. When installed to the divers end section of the umbilical it protects the hoses and cables from unnecessary snagging and abrasion, and adds to the life of the umbilical. Banana Plugs

Diving- Supplementary items Tension Relief Umbilicals International utilizes a number of different methods to provide tension relief within the umbilical. The most universal method is a simple D-ring which is attached to the cable by ‘whipping’ it onto the umbilical with a suitable yarn. The D-ring can also be supplied with a factory installed Snap Shackle or it can be supplied with a removable Snap-Shackle c/w Lanyard.
