General Overview
The M/V «NORMAND MASTER» is a multifunctional anchor handling tug supply vessel designed by Ulstein Design AS and delivered by Ulstein Verft AS in 2003 for Solstad Shipping ASA. It is designed for a variety of offshore operations including anchor handling, towing, and subsea construction.

Specifications
The vessel measures approximately 82.1 meters in length overall, with a breadth of 20.0 meters and a maximum draught of 7.5 meters. It has a gross tonnage of 4477 GRT and a net tonnage of 1343 NRT. The vessel is capable of speeds up to 19 knots and has a bollard pull of approximately 280 tonnes.

Capabilities
The ULSTEIN A101 is equipped for high bollard pull operations, deep water anchor and mooring line handling, and subsea construction. It features dynamic positioning, excellent maneuverability, and low noise and vibration levels. The vessel meets NOFO 2000 requirements and is prepared for Fire Fighter I and II.

Accommodation
The vessel can accommodate up to 55 persons with high-standard facilities, including various cabin types, a mess room, day room, smokers' lounge, laundries, hospital, and conference room.

Deck and Cargo
The cargo deck area is 600 m² with a capacity of 1550 tonnes. The vessel is equipped with multiple cranes, including a knuckle boom ROV crane and a foldable crane, as well as an A-frame with a SWL of 250 tonnes.

Machinery and Propulsion
The propulsion system includes four main engines, each providing 4320 kW, and two main propellers. The vessel also features a comprehensive oil purification plant and fresh water generators.

Navigation and Communication
The vessel is equipped with advanced navigation and communication systems, including S-band and X-band radars, an electronic chart system, and GMDSS-compliant radio installations.

Electric Power Plant
The electric power plant includes two shaft alternators, auxiliary generator sets, and an emergency generator, providing a robust power supply for all onboard systems.
