The Twin Disc QuickShift with its patented GP valve engages in 0.05 seconds, compared to a standard marine transmission’s 0.75 seconds, due to clutch fill time. QuickShift achieves full torque in .2 seconds, compared to a standard transmission requiring 2.0 seconds.
