High Performance Super Abrasion Resistant (HPSAR) Fenders
These fenders feature a superior rubber compound that extends service life by up to five times, reducing maintenance costs. They are suitable for applications such as bulk cargo berths and tug operations.
Cylindrical Fenders
Known for simplicity and versatility, cylindrical fenders are easy to install and maintain, available in various sizes for different applications.
Extrusions
Extruded fenders are robust rubber profiles for general-purpose fendering, customizable in length and shape, available in black or creamy white.
Composite Fenders
Also known as Rubbylene®, these fenders combine rubber resilience with a low-friction UHMW-PE face, suitable for small craft jetties and mooring pontoons. They are bonded using a special vulcanizing method, with customization options available.
Heavy Duty Molded Fenders
Featuring a resilient D-shaped molded rubber body with an embedded steel plate, these fenders are designed for tough environments and can withstand vertical impacts, suitable for tug vessels, fishing vessels, and small ferries.
Fender Bars
Available in ML and MLS types, these bars are suitable for heavy-duty applications with strong fixings to prevent bolt bending under large deflections and shear.
Marine Protection Plates
Designed for pontoon and dock protection, these plates feature a heavy-duty steel back plate vulcanized into the rubber body, available with flat or wave-patterned surfaces.
Ramp and Cope Protections
Wedge-shaped rubber elements designed to protect ramps and cope edges, providing a high-friction surface to prevent slipping and reduce noise.
Shear Fenders
These fenders have a linear load-deflection characteristic in shear and are stiff in compression, ideal for low-energy applications.
Tug Fenders
Designed for extreme conditions, available in various types including cylindrical, pushing, side beltings, and transition blocks, critical for powerful tugs exceeding 100t bollard pull.
Tug Cylindricals
Large cylindrical fenders used primarily on the bow or stern of tugs, available in various diameters and lengths.
M-Fenders
Featuring a large, flexible contact face with triple-leg attachment, suitable for all types of tugs and can be fitted around tight curves.
W-Fenders
Designed for extreme conditions with a unique open bore for easy installation, suitable for tugs, icebreakers, and large harbor tugs.
Keyhole Fenders
These fenders have a traditional keyhole profile, suitable for heavy-duty applications, and can be made with UHMW-PE faces for low friction.
Accessories
Various accessories are available, including chains, anchors, fixing bolts, and chain tensioners, to support fender systems and control deflection and shear during impacts.
Conclusion
Trelleborg's fender systems integrate with SmartPort technology, providing a comprehensive view of operations to enhance communication and decision-making, ensuring long-lasting, efficient solutions for marine environments.
