One camera for the visible spectrum fitted with the latest optical vibration compensation and the other camera for the thermal radiation spectrum, fitted with the latest radiometric analytics. Both cameras excel in their purpose.! Integrated 10x zoom visible HD camera The MCU is fitted with a full-HD 4 Mpixel camera. Its smooth 10x optical zoom offers an ideal coverage of the scene from almost any viewpoint. The viewing angle ranges from 58° up to 6.9°. Fast auto-focus and image enhancement make this camera ideal for a range of applications. Optical vibration reduction The most stunning feature of the 10x zoom camera is its optical vibration reduction, ensuring razor sharp images without blurring in vibrating environment such as marine and offshore. The optical vibration compensation stabilized the image on the sensor preventing the artefact you get with digital image stabilization, such as cropped images, motion blur and strange artefact due to the rolling shutter. Integrated thermal camera The MCU is also fitted with a highly sensitive uncooled microbolometer for thermal imaging. It detects temperature differences as small as 50 mK and can spot heat sources invisible to the naked eye. Hot-spot detection The MCU can detect hot-spots, fire and other heat related detections. The detected heat source can be visualized on the optical image, Typical applications for detecting hot-spots are coal piles, garbage heaps, power transformers, pumps, and many more. Flare monitoring A very specialized application is monitoring the flare of an oil, gas or industrial installation. The “flare monitor” comes standard in the MultiCam. It has specialized zones for flare-off and flare-too-large detection. In both situations, it is a tell-tale that there is a problem in the process of the installation. Early detection can save a lot of money at the end of the day. Multi-stream Both cameras share one IP-address and has multistream capability for simultaneous streaming of H.264/H.264 or H.264/MJPEG. Multiple combinations of resolution and frame rate can be configured to satisfy different live viewing and recording scenarios. Security Solution In combination with TKH Security Solutions Video Management System, Sense, the MCU create a versatile CCTV solution for numerous applications. Compatibility with other video management systems is realized by the camera’s ONVIF Profile S compliance.
