Product Overview:
TIKAL WOODCOAT is a highly transparent, UV-resistant sealing product designed for coating and varnishing wood surfaces. It is also suitable for covering wood surfaces with light silk fabric and can be enhanced with TIKAL GF and/or TIKAL MICROBALOONS to function as glue, adhesive, or bevel filler.
Specifications:
  • Storage: 12 months in original sealed containers, protected from moisture and frost, at temperatures between +8 °C and +25 °C.
  • Components: Comp. A (colorless, specific density approx. 1.14 g/m3), Comp. B (yellowish, specific density approx. 1.03 g/m3).
  • Full hardening time: 24 hours.
  • Processing temperature: +5 °C to max. +30 °C.
Usage:
  • Coating and priming of wood surfaces.
  • Transparent varnishing for covering and coating.
Characteristics:
  • Highly transparent.
  • High UV resistance.
  • Minimal surface saponification.
  • Good grindability.
  • Compatible with spray and airless application when diluted with TIKAL epoxy thinning (EPT).
