A Teledyne Benthos ROV Datasheet Teledyne Benthos Remotely Operated Vehicle Low Logistics, High Performance ROV The Teledyne Benthos Stingray ROV is designed to perform a variety of operations in the most challenging underwater conditions. It has superior standard features, a wide range of options, and a built-in payload capacity. The Stingray’s three interfaces for optional equipment permit easy installation of tools, sensors or other equipment, providing a high level of flexibility. Sensors and other payloads that can be installed on the Stingray include: imaging sonars, side scan sonars, sub bottom profilers, manipulators and navigation systems. The Stingray is an exceptionally versatile and capable ROV in a small, powerful, highly maneuverable package. Here, the Stingray was outfitted with a hooking mechanism to attach a line to the top bail of a platform which was then hauled to the surface.
