All of our releases can be operated from our deck boxes, giving users wireless topside control over their subsea devices. With over 50 years of experience in undersea applications, Teledyne Benthos Acoustic Releases deliver exceptional performance in harsh environments. The Model R12K Deep Sea Acoustic Transponding release is the first product in our release line to benefit from our new electronics architecture. This new architecture provides new features and establishes the R12K as the most technologically sophisticated release in its class. Battery voltage and percent remaining indicators are complemented by a tilt accuracy indicated in one degree increments. With a positive indication of release status, operators have complete awareness of the condition of their releases. While new electronics improve the user experience, the trusted and proven Benthos release mechanical design has not changed. The R12K is still designed for full ocean depth mooring recovery applications with a rugged stainless steel package and a 5000kg load rating. Every release is tested to full ocean depth. The R12K combines proven reliability and state of the art electronics for the best user experience.
