The Gobius Technology (TM and PATENT), best described as “knock and listen”, makes it possible to accurately measure the contents of all tanks, no matter size and shape, even if the inside of the tank is unclean. How does it work? Every sensor that is placed onto the tank wall consists of a shaker and accelerometer. When the shaker creates a vibration in the tank wall, the accelerometer measures the size of the vibration and passes it on to the control unit. The control unit then calculates if the fluid level has passed the particular sensor or not. HOLDING TANK DISPLAY Gobius is also constructed to minimise the electricity consumption. It sends power to its sensors in pulses instead of a continuous stream, thus saving the craft’s battery. All in all the battery consumption is less than 40mA!!
