Open the catalog to page 2THEORY OF OPERATION – HOW IT WORKS ? The operation of the BIOCON systems is simple and very effective. The system uses Air (oxygen) for the rapid oxidation of the organic material combined with chlorine (either 5% or 14% concentration recommended) for the germs elimination. The oxygen and the added chlorine meet in the suction line of the recycling current and are working in an aggressive reaction under strong turbulence on the organic matter, the surface of which has been previously optimally enlarged by a macerator to solids of maximum 0.5 mm dimensions. This makes a quick reaction...

Open the catalog to page 5Biocon systems now in compliance with the new IMO resolutions remain the same in design with just the addition of special filter to retain extra solid particles. One filter unit per equipment will accomplish the task. The used filter if clogged can be cleaned and reject to garbage or just empty it and reuse it. No odor, or wet sludge, just inert powder to be thrown away at ship’s waste. An economic solution, simple and comprehensive. It allows very reliable effluent characteristics while it gives you also the flexibility to by-pass the filter in case discharge conditions permit it . The...
