LEVEL SENSORS MANUFACTURED BY TECHNI SA Level sensors are used as measuring sensors for the electrical continuous remote display of levels. Level Sen- sors work on float principle with magnetic transmission. The magnetic field, which is in the ball or cylindrical floats actuates very small reed contacts through the wall of a guide tube and these pick up an uninterrup- ted measuring-circuit voltage from a resistance chain. This measuring-circuit voltage is proportional to the li- quid level (three-wire potentiometer circuit). The reso- lution of the reed contacts is available in various types. The resistance reading can be converted into an ana- logue signal when used with a control unit.
