TBSAFE 16 is composed of a very flexible, fine-grained polyurethane elastomer complex known for its high anti-skid performance. The surface features a 400-micron non-abrasive flexible powder, and the product weighs 2.4 kg/m2. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C.
The product is laid using AT7 adhesive. For maintenance, it should be washed regularly with water and conventional detergents. In industrial settings, the use of pH 9 biodegradable detergents is recommended. Storage should be in the original packaging, away from humidity, and handled at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
TBSAFE 16 is suitable for various applications including gangways, pool surrounds, camper van roofs, indoor stair nosing, cockpit descents, docks, and diving boards. It is flexible and conformable for non-developable surfaces.
The product is available in several self-adhesive formats: strips, blisters, rollers, and plates, with various dimensions to suit different needs.
Slip resistance is tested according to EN 13036-4, showing a coefficient of 0.99 on dry ground and 0.67 on wet ground. It also demonstrates resistance to deformation (75% elongation before breakage), UV, natural chemical agents, oils, greases, hydrocarbons, salt water, abrasion, and shocks.
The Aquascop ecotoxicity test indicates no environmental toxicity in aqueous media.
The product is available in various colors including white, black, agate grey, blue, ivory, slate brown, sand, and green.
