NPM Series

NPM Series

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The NPM Series, including models NPM-40 and NPM-50, are non-programmable twin nozzle tank cleaning machines suitable for use on chemical and crude oil tankers. Selection of the appropriate machine specification requires consideration of factors such as pump capacity, the number of machines operating simultaneously, relevant standards, and cargo type, along with general cargo tank information like dimensions and shape. TANKTECH offers a crude oil washing manual and shadow diagram for further guidance.

Stand Pipe and Machine Assembly
Models available include NPM-40P (Submerged Type), NPM-40S (Fixed Type), and NPM-40F (Flange Type).

Operation
The NPM Series operates by rotating the machine body around a vertical axis using cleaning fluid, while simultaneously spinning the nozzles around a horizontal axis. This dual motion creates a grid pattern on the tank walls, ensuring comprehensive cleaning coverage through four cycle patterns.

Materials and Specifications
The machines are constructed from materials such as Stainless Steel 316L, Teflon, and Peek. They operate within a pressure range of 5 to 12 kg/cm² and can withstand a maximum temperature of 90°C (194°F). Lubrication and cooling are achieved through the cleaning fluid itself. Connection options include flange or coupling, as requested. Each machine weighs approximately 7 kg.

NPM Series-1

NPM Series > Non-programmable Twin Nozzle Tank Cleaning Machine Introduction NPM-40 and NPM-50 can be used on all kind of chemical tanker as well as crude oil tanker. In order to select the specification of Tank Cleaning Machine, pump capacity, machine quantity operated simultaneously, related standard, the kind of cargo, etc, are required with general information of cargo tank such as dimension and shape. TANKTECH can provide crude oil washing manual and shadow diagram. Operation The body of NPM Series is rotated around the vertical axis by cleaning fluid. At the same time, the cleaning fluid spins the nozzles around the horizontal axis. As a result, the grid pattern traces are generated on the walls of tank. The tank cleaning operation by NPM Series consists of cycle patterns as followed figures. The whole part of cargo tank is covered by these 4 cycles.
