STABLE AND AFFORDABLE The Accelerator Range is Sykes new range of medium tier racing singles designed to take Single Scullers from an intermediate or school level to the next stage of their career. The Accelerator continues our evolution of our very economical, yet highly competitive and stable sculling boats from our subsidiary factory located in China, designed by Sykes in Geelong and featuring a full carbon fibre honeycomb construction which is intended to be in the 14.3 -14.8 kg complete boat weight range, depending on your final fittings and mould choice. Like our successful Initiator range, the Accelerator range is made only using all moulds and processes which have been made and developed by Sykes in Australia. Once received from China, all Hulls are then completely fitted out and quality checked with Riggers which are made in our Geelong factory. This range is offered with the same mould shapes as the Sykes Initiator Range: Mould 150, Mould 151 and Mould 152. As a guide to what will be suitable for you please use the table below.
