CHARACTERISTICS Straps to fix the slide (MES) Lifeline ► Manufactured with a durable polyurethane fabric Boarding ramp ► Assembled using Thermobonding™ (advanced hot Water pocket Knife External light Reflective tapes assembly technique), our ORILs are: • Consistent (computer-controlled technique) • Inert to ageing factors in the marine environments • Easy to service and fit in small light glass reinforced plastic container • Equipment packs sealed in strong watertight bags, secured inside the liferaft • Approved EPIRB on request ► Paramount evacuation time STORAGE ONBOARD SHIP ► Our ORILs are stored either on: • ROUND container or • LPC (low profile container) • metallic deck cradle (galvanized steel or aluminum) • GRP deck cradle • LPC cradle (with horizontal or vertical storage) • tilting cradle (single or multiple) or • specially designed cradles ► Liferaft secured on the cradle with lashing & hydrostatic release unit MES SIS OPTION ► Our Marine Evacuation Systems (MES): • associate ORIL with Small Inflatable Slide (SIS) • are specifically designed for high speed craft (HSC) passenger ships - fast evacuation required ► Our Small Inflatable Slides (SIS): • are light and easy to use • facilitate the descent of passengers into ORIL • increase safety for the low freeboard vessels • are safer means of evacuation when evacuation deck horizontal storage mooring configuration: a EBL arrangement (extremity bowsing lines) or a CBL arrangement (central bowsing lines) Metallic deck cradle vertical storage
