This document details the specifications and key parameters for the Survitec SAS 08 Person Throw Over Board Liferaft, featuring a round container design compliant with SOLAS A & B pack standards. The liferaft is approved by EC, USCG, and TC authorities.

Container and Liferaft Specifications

The liferaft is available in two pack variants: A Pack and B Pack, each with distinct container models (MK10 S4 for A Pack and MK10 S3 for B Pack).

Towing Force Parameters

The towing force capability of the liferaft at different speeds is specified as follows:

• At 2 knots: 65 daN (146 lbf)
• At 3 knots: 150 daN (337 lbf)

Installation Notes

For installation purposes, it is recommended to add a minimum clearance of +10mm to the container dimensions to ensure proper fit.
