The Sundeck 480 draws inspiration from traditional trawler yachts and Italian navetta, with a modern twist. It features an extended fly bridge for additional living or sunbathing space, and an oversized sun pad on the foredeck. The high hull sides and vertical bow are designed for challenging sea conditions. The yacht is equipped with efficient next-generation diesel engines, allowing for economical cruising with less than a liter of fuel per mile at displacement speed. The hull is constructed using vacuum bagged infusion technology for reduced weight and increased strength.

The 480 offers a spacious saloon with lounge seating, dining, entertainment area, and a fully fitted galley. A pantograph opening side door by the helm provides access to the side deck. Accommodation includes up to three cabins (two doubles and a single) with two bathrooms, and an optional convertible dinette. The design emphasizes natural light with large windows and port lights.
