Product catalog summary
Introduction
Subsea Tech experienced a busy second quarter in 2013, engaging in numerous exciting projects and challenges. Several R&D projects have progressed to the trial stage at their seaside facilities, with a promising schedule for the summer months.

Power Mate: Successful Trials
The initial shallow water trials of the Powermate high voltage connector (24kV, 250A) were successful. This device enables underwater connection of marine energy production units without surfacing the generator and cable. The next step involves qualifying the connector to international standards before Powersea, a dedicated start-up, begins marketing it.

CAT-Surveyor Trials in Marseilles
The CAT-Surveyor catamaran trials began in early June at Subsea Tech's Marseilles facilities. The CAT-Surveyor is designed for hydrographic surveys and reconnaissance missions in coastal and harbor areas, equipped with a mini-ROV, cameras, and sonar systems. The project is partially funded by the French Ministry of Defense Procurement Agency.

Research and Development – Ongoing Projects
Subsea Tech continues its R&D efforts to maintain leadership in underwater observation technologies. The AspiROV, developed with APRO Industrie, is a tank cleaning system using a mini-ROV and a motorized pumping skid for sediment suction. Subsea Tech will provide inspection and cleaning services in the South East region of France.

Buckleys CP Probes Distribution
Subsea Tech signed a distribution agreement with Buckleys (UVRAL) Ltd for France and other countries. Buckleys manufactures non-destructive test equipment for corrosion monitoring, complementing Subsea Tech's existing product range.

Inspection Services and Demonstrations
Subsea Tech conducted various inspections, including nuclear power plant and dam inspections, using their Guardian ROV and sonar technology. They also demonstrated the Guardian 2.1 for GEOMAR in Germany, highlighting its ease of use and video quality.

Exhibitions
Subsea Tech participated in several exhibitions, including UDT 2013 in Hamburg and Ocean Business 2013 in Southampton, showcasing their underwater defense and inspection solutions. They also presented at the 7th National Meeting on Port Activities and Sustainable Development in Nice, France.

The device allows connecting marine energy production units under water without taking the generator and the cable to the surface. The next step will be the qualification to international standards of the connector before the dedicated start-up Powersea will start marketing it.
