Dear All, Cold days are almost behind us and before we start enjoying the summer warmth, let us tell you about two chilly stories which involved Subsea Tech mini ROVs this winter. The first one happened 4 months ago when our customer, the Antartic Division of the Australian Department of the Environment and Energy decided to dive under the ice cap to look at the fauna and flora. It resulted in an amazing video, watched 628 000 times in 3 months (see picture below for link). More recently, EDF (French Electricity Company) took us in the airs for an heliported mission on a Pyrenean lake, for a pipe inspection below the ice (see page 2). Business is also slightly warming up as you will see across the following pages, let’s keep our fingers crossed to see it lasting longer than the summertime ! Bonjour à tous, Le froid est bientôt derrière nous et avant de profiter de la chaleur de l'été, laissez-nous vous raconter deux histoires glaciales qui ont impliqué les mini ROV de Subsea Tech cet hiver. La première a eu lieu il y a 4 mois lorsque notre client, la Division Antarctique du ministère australien de l'Environnement et de l'Énergie a décidé de plonger sous la calotte glaciaire pour examiner la faune et la flore. Il en a résulté une vidéo incroyable, regardée 628 000 fois en 3 mois (voir l'image ci-dessous pour le lien). Plus récemment, EDF nous a emmenés dans les airs pour une mission héliportée sur un barrage pyrénéen, pour une inspection de conduite sous la glace (voir page 2). Les affaires se réchauffent aussi doucement comme vous le verrez dans les pages suivantes, espérons que cela durera au-delà de l’été !
