TRAINING PACKAGE HIGH VOLTAGE Purpose: Training package is intended for theoretical training, drilling practical skills and assessment of ship personnel, who operate and perform technical maintenance of power systems with voltage higher than 1000 V. Switchgear is adapted for educational purposes, for drilling practical skills, set of isolating electrical safety devices, set of personal protection equipment, KAS Knowledge Assessment Software with “High voltage test” database Functions LAB equipment allows drilling the following practical skills: • operational safety with shipboard high voltage equipment, including operation with switchboards, withdrawable equipment, and protection devices; • circuit breakers turning off and isolating; • high voltage equipment hazard mitigation; • high voltage equipment tests; • use of personal protection equipment; • emergency response actions; • permit to works.
