Installation Procedure:
  1. Bolt the upper handrails to the lower ladder and position the ladder on the dock. Slide slip supports onto the lower ladder and mark screw hole positions.
  2. Drill and mount slip supports (Item 3) to the dock, ensuring proper location. Mount short side up for easier fastener installation. Slide the ladder onto the slip supports, check location, and ensure the ladder is plumb.
  3. Mark, drill, and mount bolts for the upper handrail flanges.
Operational Guidelines:
  • Only one person should use the ladder at a time.
  • The ladder should not be used as a mooring point for boats or personal watercraft.
  • Inspect mounting bolts periodically for tightness.
Recommendations:
  • For steel stud anchors for concrete (not supplied with ladder): Use Zinc Yellow-Chromate Plated, Ø 1/4”, 1 3/4" long, 1 1/4" minimum insertion depth. Recommended McMaster-Carr #98880A111 or equivalent. Ensure compliance with local building code requirements.
